Section 4: Terms and Policies

Dog’s requirements:

Your dog will have a safe and strong 5-6 foot leash.
Must stay current on vaccinations
Must wear their name tag and other registration tags
Must have a collar or harness

House Key

One copy of your house key is required if you do not plan to be home at pick up. We will knock before entering and unlock the door after we knock.

Off leash

For safety reasons we do not let the dogs off the leash at anytime during the walk.

Cancellation Policy

A minimum of 24 hours notice for cancellations of any appointment are required. Cancellations made less than 24 hours prior to you appointment may be charged the full rate.

Train & Walk packages expire within 3 months of purchase date. We do not offer a refund for unused sessions.

Inclement Weather

In the event of Rain/Snow/Heavy Winds temperatures below 25F degrees and above 95F degrees we may reduce the walk time. We will make sure the dog goes Potty but we do not believe is forcing a dog to stay outside in bad weather if they are uncomfortable.

Payment

Payment for Dog Walks is due each week on Friday.

Train & walk packages are paid in full at the time of purchase.

We do not accept credit cards at this time. But you can send us payment via zelle, venmo or cash.

Photographs

Photos and videos of my pet taken during the walk or train and walk sessions can be used in Hoboken Pawsitive Experience materials and social media.

Terms

You authorize this contract to be valid for future walks. It authorizes Hoboken Pawsitive Experience to receive/confirm requests for future walks via email/phone/text. When you no longer want Hoboken Pawsitive Experience for your dog walks you are required to notify us in writing via email/text.
You authorize this contract is valid for the earlier of your last walk & train session in your package or 3 months from date of purchase. Scheduling your Train and Walk sessions will be accepted and confirmed through phone/text/email.
Hoboken Pawsitive Experience dog walker is authorized to walk the dog or dogs outlined in this contract
Hoboken Pawsitive Experience is authorized to seek any medical care if deemed necessary with release from all liability related to transportation, treatment and expenses, and is authorized to approve medical and/or emergency treatment (excluding euthanasia) as recommended by a veterinarian. Client agrees to reimburse Hoboken Pawsitive Experience for any expenses incurred attending to this need. We will reach out to you on our way to the animal hospital but if we cannot reach you, you authorize to make these decisions.
You understand that Hoboken Pawsitive Experience is required to report any dog bites that may occur. You will be responsible for costs/payments due to bites.
Hoboken Pawsitive Experience has the right to terminate this contract for dog walking services at any time.

Release of Liability

I do hereby waive and release Hoboken Pawsitive Experience from any and all liabilities of any nature for the actions of myself, my pet(s), or any other person who accompanies me, or holds a key to my home; except those arising from negligence or willful misconduct on the part of Hoboken Pawsitive Experience. This includes third party incidents. You agrees to notify Hoboken Pawsitive Experience in writing to hobokenpawsitiveexperience@gmail.com of any concerns within 24 hours

In case of an emergency, inclement weather or a natural disaster I authorize Hoboken Pawsitive Experience to use their reasonable judgment for the care and wellbeing of my pet(s) and/or house.

I understand that Hoboken Pawsitive Experience can terminate this contract if my pet becomes a threat to the safety or health of Hoboken Pawsitive Experience or the community due to aggressive behavior. Hoboken Pawsitive Experience reserves the right to refuse service to any client, at any time, for any reason. I acknowledge I am responsible for medical expenses and damages resulting from an injury to Hoboken Pawsitive Experience walkers or other person or animal caused by my pet(s).

I attest that all the above information is true to the best of my knowledge. If anything changes from what is listed, I will inform Hoboken Pawsitive Experience before the next service is scheduled. This signed document gives Hoboken Pawsitive Experience authorization to enter the above listed address as needed to perform the necessary service.
